Puls LED Strip Lights
The Puls LED Strip Lights operates on the same principle as traffic signals. Following a specific control program, it implements time separation in the lighting cycles, displaying a cycle of red, yellow, and green lights in each direction at the intersection to direct traffic flow. The operating voltage of the light strip is converted by the control box from the high-voltage power (85–265 V) supplied by the signal controller or traffic lights to low-voltage DC 24 V. When connected to a signal controller, the light strip’s colors can be synchronized with those of the traffic lights, ensuring they light up in unison.

LED Strip Traffic Light
The LED light strip traffic signal is a type of smart auxiliary traffic signal device. LED Strip Traffic Light consists of a long, strip-shaped LED light strip installed on traffic signal poles or cantilever arms, and LED Strip Traffic Light operates in real time in synchronization with the main traffic signal at the intersection, with the red, yellow, and green lights switching simultaneously. This technology is designed to extend the visible range of traffic signals and address common issues associated with traditional signal systems—such as signals being obscured by large vehicles or trees, poor visibility due to rain, fog, or at night, or pedestrians failing to see the signals clearly when looking down. LED Strip Traffic Light is widely used in smart zebra crossings and urban intersection upgrade projects (as shown in the figure below).
LED Strip Traffic Light Product Functions
Real-time synchronization with intersection traffic signals:The system switches in full synchronization with the three-color (red, yellow, green) traffic lights: the red light is fully red, the yellow light is fully amber, and the green light is fully green; LED Strip Traffic Light independently receives signals from the traffic signal controller without altering the original intersection timing logic.
Long-range, wide-angle recognition:High-brightness, traffic-grade LED lights offer a visible range of up to 200–300 meters, ensuring clear visibility even at curves, during rainy or foggy weather, or at dusk and night; drivers in side lanes and cyclists in non-motorized vehicle lanes can also easily discern the signal status – Zhejiang Online.
Automatic day/night dimming:Equipped with a built-in light sensor that automatically adjusts brightness during the day to ensure clear visibility in bright light, and automatically reduces brightness at night to prevent glare and eye strain.
Compatible with existing transportation systems:Upgrading and retrofitting – no need to replace the entire traffic signal system; simply integrate LED Strip Traffic Light with the existing signal equipment – enabling quick and efficient construction and modification.
Environmental protection function:Fully sealed waterproof and dustproof design (IP65/IP68); lightning protection and resistance to extreme temperatures; suitable for outdoor environments exposed to sunlight and rain; industrial-grade, long-life LEDs ensuring stable long-term operation and reduced subsequent maintenance costs.
Landscape demonstration function:Integrates seamlessly into traffic signal poles to enhance the smart appearance of urban intersections, serving as display equipment for model civilized traffic intersections and popular smart intersection installations.
LED light strips and traffic lights can effectively address the core pain points faced by customers.
Traditional disc-shaped traffic signals suffer from visual obstruction blind spots.
The vertical elongated lighting strip is installed at the lamp post position, extending throughout the visible range; this ensures that the three-color signal remains clearly visible from behind the heavy-duty vehicle, eliminating any visual blind spots.
Poor signal visibility during adverse weather conditions
Large-area high-brightness LED light strips offer extended visibility; when combined with an automatic light-sensitive dimming system, they enhance recognition performance in all weather conditions and reduce the incidence of traffic violations and road accidents at intersections.
Pedestrians and non-motorized vehicles ignoring traffic signals
The vertical elongated light strip creates a stronger visual impact, serving as a multi-angle reminder to pedestrians crossing the road and enabling “full-intersection visual warning” to reduce instances of pedestrians running red lights.
High renovation costs and lengthy construction timelines for existing intersections
This product is a standalone, aftermarket installation device that connects directly to existing signal lights – enabling an existing equipment upgrade without the need to replace the original signal lights, resulting in faster installation and lower renovation costs.
LED Strip Traffic Light Wiring Instructions
Light strip wiring:
The connection between optical fibers is made using a mating interface, i.e., connecting a male connector to a female connector.
11.The light strip is powered by DC 24 V; the control box is powered by AC 85–265 V. Ensure that all connectors – both those between the light strip and the control box and those between the light strips themselves – are securely tightened to prevent rainwater ingress.
2.During wiring operations, ensure that high-voltage power is disconnected to prevent accidents.

LED Strip Traffic Light Product Installation
Light strip traffic light installation:
This product is easy and straightforward to install, with the process divided into several stages: hardware equipment delivery and installation, commissioning, acceptance, and other administrative tasks; the entire installation period is approximately one working day.
1. Install each light strip directly onto the traffic light pole using clamps; no additional pole installation is required. Use two clamps for each light strip; insert the clamps through the aluminum strap on the back of the product. The installation location is typically on the vertical or horizontal pole.
2. Install the light strip on the traffic light pole; connect the wiring to the power control box via a connector; the control box is also mounted on the traffic light pole using a clamp.
