Pedestrian crossing voice prompt posts are auxiliary devices designed to enhance the user-friendly experience of pedestrian crossings. Consisting of main and auxiliary posts, they are installed on both sides at the ends of crosswalks to visually and audibly remind pedestrians not to jaywalk and to cross the street safely in accordance with the pedestrian traffic signal. By providing voice prompts, these devices encourage citizens to comply with traffic regulations, foster good habits for safe and civilized travel, and ensure road traffic safety.
When the pedestrian signal is green, if a pedestrian passes between the main and auxiliary posts, the infrared beam is interrupted, but the device will not emit a voice prompt. When the pedestrian signal is red, if a pedestrian passes between the main and auxiliary posts, the infrared beam is interrupted, and at this point, both the main and auxiliary posts will simultaneously emit a voice prompt to alert the pedestrian that they have crossed against the red light.
1) No 220V mains power supply is required; simply connect the red and green pedestrian signal wires from the pedestrian traffic signal to the corresponding terminals on the warning post.
2) Easy maintenance: When the pedestrian traffic signal is connected to the warning post, it passes through three switches with indicator lights, making it easy to determine the signal’s current status.
3) Concealed base design: Once installed, the studs on the base flange are hidden from view, resulting in a sleek and elegant appearance.
4) Signal lights at both ends: Pedestrians who have not yet stepped onto the crosswalk and those already on it can immediately see the current status of the pedestrian signal.
5) Surface-mounted LED display: Offers a wider viewing angle than traditional plug-in displays, allowing pedestrians to clearly see the display content from both the front and the sides.
6) Display content updates: The content on the display can be modified in real time via a computer.
