These signals in Sale, Victoria were recently upgraded to LED and had arrows added. The intersection is treated as a T junction, despite another road on the left only metres away which has a Give Way sign. Unfortunately there is a problem where the lights for through traffic unnecessarily change to red when the arrow does – and then straight back to green. Also the amber is only 3 seconds in a 70km/h zone.
Some months after this video was uploaded, the signals were reprogrammed and no longer have the unnecessary red for through traffic.
