Maker Norbert Okech showing his solar-powered control system for traffic lights. Inspired by the lack of traffic lights in his area,plus the ineffectiveness of the ones that were there, Norbert came up with the idea of using LED lights, making the system require lower power to operate than ordinary traffic light systems and thus enabling it to be solar-powered.
