This LED lighting system is used on many commercial doors to help prevent trucks or persons from hitting the doors. These strikes are very damaging to the door, door frame, vehicle, equipment that strikes the door, impacted persons’ heads, and more.
Our Door Safety Kit attaches bright LED light strips to the side(s) of the door frame. One of our LED Controller devices is connected to each door operator (any make/model). The LEDs turn bright red when the door is completely closed, they flash red when the door is in motion, and they turn bright green when the door is fully open. This acts as a highly-effective stop-go light for the vehicle drivers and pedestrians.
