Team Of The Year Award
In late 2015 South Ayrshire Campus Police officers, funded by ‘Choices for Life’ & South Ayrshire Council Cultural Liaison recruited 20 pupils from 6 local secondary schools to write, perform and film an original music video designed to highlight the dangers around New Psychoactive Substances (NPS).
A local film company was involved to oversee the project which was supported by various partner agencies. The pupils involved learned valuable skills in all areas of film making while learning how to stay safe. The video is available online and can be used to support existing NPS awareness inputs locally and nationally.
