Solar-Powered Simple Elevating Display Screen
The solar-powered portable lift display consists of a cabinet, multiple modules, a solar panel, and a mobile stand. The cabinet features a front-opening design for easy access to the display for inspection and maintenance. A waterproof flange is installed above the front door, and a waterproof seal is affixed to the inside of the door panel. When closed, the door fits snugly against the drainage channel, preventing rainwater from entering the cabinet through the back.
The LEDs in the Solar-Powered Simple Lift Display use imported Epistar chips, offering high brightness and a long service life. The display receives information transmitted by the monitoring and management computer and can display Chinese, English, numbers, and icons. Its control unit can store at least 100 messages, which can be retrieved by the operator at any time. Additionally, the operator can perform full-screen editing, status monitoring, and control via the monitoring and management computer.

Solar Simple VMS Display
The Solar-powered VMS Liftable Mobile Display Screen (Simplified Version) utilizes self-contained solar power supply, a wheeled mobile base, and a liftable display structure; Solar Simple VMS Display is a lightweight intelligent traffic warning device designed for temporary road management and road construction/maintenance scenarios. Unlike large-scale trailer-mounted information boards, this device emphasizes rapid deployment, flexible relocation, and cost-effective deployment, addressing the limitation of fixed traffic signs that cannot dynamically update warning information. Solar Simple VMS Display is suitable for providing temporary road condition alerts, speed limit enforcement, and traffic flow guidance (as shown in the figure below).
Solar-powered VMS Lift-and-Move Display Screen (Simplified Version) – Product Features
Solar-powered independent supply:
Top-mounted solar panels combined with an integrated storage battery eliminate the need for external mains power; this design enables independent operation in remote areas, construction sites, or off-grid locations. The system automatically charges during daylight hours and operates continuously day and night, making Solar Simple VMS Display both energy-efficient and environmentally friendly.
Mobile roller base:
The base is equipped with universal casters, allowing a single person to move and reposition the unit with ease, enabling flexible adjustment of monitoring points; the support frame features a ground locking mechanism for secure placement and prevention of tipping.
Screen height adjustment:
The column lifting mechanism allows for freely adjusting the display screen’s viewing height, accommodating different lane conditions and varying viewing angles for both large and small vehicles, ensuring clear readability from a distance.
High-brightness outdoor LED display:
High-brightness yellow LED dot-matrix display – clear visibility under bright light and anti-glare performance at night; supports custom text, speed limit values, and warning message switching.
Outdoor protective enclosure:
Yellow rust-prevention steel exterior shell – waterproof and dustproof, suitable for harsh outdoor construction environments such as rainy conditions or exposure to direct sunlight.
Variable Text Editing:
Customizable display content: speed limit alerts, upcoming construction work, lane closure, slow-down instructions, road condition warnings, and safety awareness slogans – all text content can be easily edited or replaced at any time.
Multilingual/Traditional Chinese compatibility:
Supports Simplified and Traditional Chinese, numbers, and English; optimized for use in Hong Kong, Macau, and cross-border road scenarios (e.g., the Traditional Chinese phrase “Vehicle Speed Limit”).
Timed/Always-On Display Mode:
You can configure a fixed, always-on warning light or set up scrolling or flashing warning effects to enhance the driver’s attention.
The Solar VMS Lift-and-Move Display Screen (Simplified Version) – addressing key pain points for customers
For construction or field road sections without mains power supply, traditional information boards cannot be installed.
Solar power combined with energy storage batteries provides independent power supply – eliminating the need for cable installation or grid connection – making Solar Simple VMS Display ideal for use in remote roads, temporary construction sites, or maintenance areas, thereby saving on wiring installation costs and avoiding the risk of power outages.
Eliminates the hassle of external power supply wiring, reduces construction costs, and eliminates potential safety hazards.
The self-sufficient power supply mode reduces the need for cable excavation and temporary power connection procedures, mitigates safety risks associated with outdoor electrical leakage or line damage caused by vehicle traffic, and lowers associated infrastructure costs.
Large-scale trailer-mounted VMS systems are bulky and costly, involve cumbersome on-site transfer procedures, and are not cost-effective for short-duration projects.
A simple, lightweight roller base can be moved and positioned by a single person, eliminating the need for trailers or cranes – making Solar Simple VMS Display ideal for short-term construction projects or temporary traffic control scenarios and significantly reducing procurement and rental costs.
Since control points are frequently relocated, fixed signage cannot always display updated information.
It allows for rapid relocation – suitable for accident response, mobile inspections, or adjusting its position during phased construction; the content on the LED screen can be modified at any time, and a single device can display multiple warning messages.
Fixed screen height; large vehicle obstructs view; varying viewing angles; unclear display of prompt text from a distance.
An adjustable height mechanism allows for free adjustment of the display height and optimizes the driving visibility angle, ensuring that drivers of all vehicle sizes can clearly identify warning messages from a distance.
Traditional reflective signage features fixed text; it does not support real-time updates for temporary speed limits or changes in road conditions.
Variable LED screen supporting customizable speed limit settings, construction warning alerts, and detour guidance; allows for flashing or scrolling display modes to enhance the warning effect and dynamically convey temporary traffic control instructions.
For traditional Chinese or cross-border road usage scenarios where standard signage cannot meet text display requirements, use specialized signage solutions.
Supports both Simplified and Traditional Chinese, numbers, and English; designed for use in Hong Kong, Macau, and cross-border road projects.
Insufficient visibility of warning signs in nighttime or bright-light environments; weak effectiveness of speed reduction reminders.
High-brightness outdoor LED modules withstand direct sunlight during the day and emit clear light at night, providing an active warning system throughout all weather conditions. Compared to passive reflective signs, these modules offer a more effective early-warning capability, effectively reducing the risks of speeding and rear-end collisions.
Addressing short-term traffic control needs by procuring large-scale VMS equipment – despite significant budgetary constraints.
The simplified model offers better value for money; as a mobile supplement to fixed large-screen displays, Solar Simple VMS Display helps control investment costs for small-scale projects or sporadic maintenance tasks.
The equipment is bulky; its disassembly, assembly, and storage require significant human and material resources.
Lightweight rack design enables rapid deployment and retrieval, reducing the duration of traffic control and road closure operations and minimizing the impact on road traffic flow.
Outdoor equipment is vulnerable to sun exposure and rain, resulting in a high failure rate and frequent maintenance requirements.
Waterproof, dustproof, and rust-proof steel structural protective enclosure designed for outdoor road environments subject to high temperatures, rain, or dust exposure, thereby reducing subsequent maintenance and operational frequency.
